A tea scoop is a unit of measurement for tea. It’s equal to 2 teaspoons or 3 grams. The difference between a coffee scoop and a tea scoop is the size. A coffee scoop is larger than a tea scoop and measures 8 fluid ounces or 236 milliliters. A tea scoop measures 2 teaspoons or 3 grams.

Here’s a quick and dirty chart you can use to help you with the math. It is enough to add up the quantities, even if they aren’t listed. Cups (6 oz) 1 = 2 tbsp / 1 scoop. 2 = 4 tbsp / 2 scoops. 3 = 6 tbsp / 3 scoops. 4 = 8 tbsp / 4 scoops. 12 = 24 tbsp / 12 scoops.

A level scoop holds 11.5 grams of coffee or about 2.5 tablespoons. A heaping (rounded) scoop of coffee holds 14 grams or 3 tablespoons

I even brought a Chemex coffee maker along, but alas no scale, or for that matter, no standardized scoop. I quickly did some quick conversions in my head. I figured the scoop to be 6 or 7 grams, and the Chemex I brought took 50 grams per pot (It holds 30 ounces of water).

I drink a .5l cup of coffee in the mornings, it's two perfect full aeropress cups. One scoop per press of whole bean into my grinder. From experience, it's about 18-19g of grounds. As others have said, maybe allow a small amount of variance in either direction to account for grind.
